Display Tests

Dead Pixel Test

Inspect solid fullscreen colors and document pixels that appear dark, bright, or fixed. This visual check does not automatically classify defects or warranty eligibility.

Touch Screen Test

Trace a fullscreen grid to check which areas report touch or pointer input. The test runs in your browser without storing coordinates or automatically declaring a hardware defect.

Frame Skipping Test

Photograph an automatically advancing numbered pattern to look for repeated gaps. Browser timing only prepares the pattern; it does not certify the display refresh path.

Uniformity Test

Visually compare relative brightness and color consistency across neutral gray and solid-color patterns. This browser test does not calculate calibrated uniformity.

Gamma Test

Check your monitor's gamma behavior with browser-based patterns. Use the result as a visual reference, not a lab measurement.

Contrast Ratio Test

Inspect black and white clipping, shadow and highlight detail, and gradient separation. Browser patterns cannot produce a calibrated contrast-ratio value.

Response Time Test

Use browser motion patterns to inspect visible ghosting, overshoot, and motion clarity. This visual check does not produce a panel response-time rating in milliseconds.

Refresh Rate Test

Record requestAnimationFrame cadence and frame pacing while this browser tab stays visible. The result is browser timing data, not panel certification.

Burn-in Test

Use solid colors and moving patterns to inspect retention-like artifacts on OLED and other displays. A browser observation cannot prove that an artifact is permanent burn-in.

Color Temperature Test

Compare browser-rendered warm, neutral, and cool white references. This relative visual check does not measure a physical Kelvin value or calibrated white point.

Backlight Bleed Test

Observe a dark fullscreen pattern for edge light leaks or IPS glow under controlled room conditions. Camera exposure can exaggerate what the eye sees.

Gradient Banding Test

Inspect browser-rendered gradients for visible color bands across several colors and directions. Visible bands cannot prove whether a panel is 8-bit or 10-bit.

HDR Test

Check browser-reported dynamic-range and color-gamut signals, then inspect HDR-oriented visual patterns. This browser test does not report brightness in nits.

Flicker Test

Compare camera-visible bands or pulsing across display brightness settings and browser patterns. This check cannot measure PWM frequency or determine medical safety.

Input Lag Test

Understand browser reaction timing across the human, input-device, browser, operating-system, and display path. It cannot isolate monitor input lag.

Viewing Angle Test

Inspect visible color, brightness, and contrast changes from centered and off-axis positions. This visual test cannot identify panel technology.

Screen Info

View browser-reported CSS dimensions, device-pixel ratio, color depth, and media-query signals. PPI is calculated only after you enter the physical diagonal.

Viewing Distance Calculator

Calculate a viewing-distance range from your entered screen size using the displayed size multipliers. The result shows assumptions, not a universal ergonomic optimum.

Text Clarity Test

Compare subjective readability, fringing, and stroke appearance across browser-rendered text samples. The page cannot certify subpixel layout or a universal grade.

Multi-Screen Alignment

Use browser patterns to compare visible alignment and relative color across two or more displays. Save your own observations locally; this is not calibrated matching.
